A little about Bloominglabs and our usage of their space for Winter Field Day: We are open to the public on Wednesday evenings from 7-10 pm and Saturdays from noon to 5 pm. Bloominglabs is open to members (and their guests) 24×7. There may be members making loud tool noise at any time, however generally this is tolerable with the noise insulation we have in the building. We have an electronics/radio room, general hangout lounge, wood shop, car lift/automotive area, metal fab shop, classroom, crafting room, laser+3D printing room, and a kitchen. Anyone attending the event would be welcome to use any of our areas during the event. I would assume that the radio room would most likely be the primary point for this event, but the crafting area (which is larger) could also be used as an over-flow area. Both rooms have either a window or door which can facilitate temporary coax runs to outdoor antennas as needed.
