SIARA was created to promote, host, and coordinate amateur radio activity across southern Indiana. SIARA recognizes and affirms that amateur radio operators from different localities and counties within the state may share similar interests in radio experimentation, communications technologies, socializing, education, and other activities.

SIARA membership is open to any amateur radio license holder as well as prospective license holders.

Attendees without an IU parking permit may park in spaces designated ST during regular meetings. Talk-in on the WB9TLH repeater: 146.64 MHz, -offset, 136.5 Hz tone
